Some REAL food

 Ready for his first taste
{no, he hasn't had anything at this point...the bib is soaked with slobber!}

 He thought his fingers were just as tasty

 The girls both had a turn {notice the IKEA spoon, I don't have any baby spoons!}
Jo gagged him pretty good cause she was paying more attention to the TV, so her turn didn't last too long. She didn't seem to mind, nor did Harv's much.

 A satisfied customer

Harvey nurses every 4 hours. I can tell by the 3rd feeding of the day, my milk has slowed down, and even more so by the 4th. I have a hard time getting Harvey's tummy full enough for him to feel he can go down for the night. I usually nurse him about 7 or 8. Then he has a tub and then {I'd lay him down}...BUT instead he pounds a 6 oz bottle of formula {about an hour after he nurses} before he will contentedly lay down for the night. This was causing me some concern about my milk production and also about my growing baby. I want him to get enough, but I also worry that giving him a bottle of formula ever night is just making him eat by habit and not hunger. So, we decided some solid foods may be in order. So, {much earlier than with the girls} Harvey now has cereal every night. He is still wanting a full bottle of formula as well...so now i'm really thinking it is just habit. I just haven't got the heart to stop giving it to him! He's a growing boy!!

PS. Harv's has been sick the last few days. Finally took him to the Doctor today to find out he has Bronchiolitis {AKA: RSV} The Doc. says that, so far, it looks/sounds really mild. But it usually peaks about day 5 or 6 {today is day 3} So, hopefully it doesn't get much worse. BUT they weighed him today and he was 16.5 lbs! He's almost gained a pound since his 4 month check-up 3 weeks ago. {it's all those late evening bottles before bed, buddha!}
