Makayla at 4
Favorite color: I don't know that she really has one, she's just not that particular. Today it's pinkFavorite movie: as of last weekend "Cheaper by the Dozen", before that, "Toy Story 3" She gets in kicks and watches the same movie EVERY DAY for like 2-3 weeks, then she switches and does that with another movie. She LOVES TV!
Favorite friend: Isabel, she also LOVES JT, Andee, Ashley and Brea
Favorite pastime: playing babies. She is a mommy at heart
Favorite TV show: Dora, Special agent OSO, and Olivia
Fun facts about our Jo:
She is the MOST STUBBORN child I've ever met. She throws HUGE fits on a daily basis {usually over having to pick up her toys}
She is a happy child. Easy to please. {that totally contradicts the above comment, but somehow...it's true}
She loves to sing LOUD and talk to herself {or her toys} We call it "Makayla World"
She plays well with others, but enjoys her quiet time. She entertains herself well, but loves mom to play with her too.
She idolizes Abbey
She LOVES tap and ballet
She is an accident waiting to happen. She is constantly falling over or falling off her chair at dinner. She's not the most graceful thing around.
She is the DIRTIEST child I've ever met. She plays HARD and by the end of the day {or mid day} her hair is in disarray, her face is dirty, and her feet are black! She loves life and LIVES life!
She is a stinker at bedtime and the MASTER of delay {it's not uncommon for her to come out of her room 10 times before bed...to get a baby to sleep with, or a drink of water, or to give us "one more kiss and hug!"} She's full of it!
She is clumsy. She will just randomly fall over {or fall off of barstools} It cracks us up. And if there is an obstacle in her way, she's sure to trip over it!
She eats her mac and cheese with a spoon {one of her favorite meals} along with pasta and white sauce, and chicken nuggets {just the frozen ones, she usually prefers that over Mcdonalds}, and PB and J. This girl is a GOOD eater, and can take it down {just like her mommy}
She is such a fun little girly to have around. RJ and I just laugh at her spunky little personality. We can't quite figure her out, though. Like I said, she is one stubborn chica, BUT she can be the SWEETEST thing around too. On her birthday, she played and SHARED everything with Abbey, all day! {Abbey would not be so quick to do the same} She was just loving that Abbey wanted to play with her and all her new toys. Things are just things to her, where as Abbey's stuff is very special {and she takes much better care of her stuff than Jo does} But man, you make her leave grandma's house or pick up her toys and you'll get an earful! She can make you want to beat her one minute and hug and kiss her the next. She keeps us on our toes, and we couldn't love her more! Thanks for four amazing years miss Jo...and here's to MANY MANY more! We love you to the moon and back!
ps. I took this picture of Jo, Saturday {the day of her birthday party} It ended with her throwing one of her infamous fits, so this is the only one that I like from the bunch. BUT I like it, a lot. It just captured her so true to "her" . I'll try for more another day.
