Be Mine

I geared myself up for a "husband"less Valentine's day this year. RJ was SUPER stressed with school and told me he'd have to spend all weekend studying {don't think this was a trick he was playing on me so he could surprise me with a cool Valentine's date...this is truth} So, I decided the girls, Harv's, and I would have a great Valentine's just the 4 of us. We spent Sunday making yummy Valentine's treats to share with Gramz and papa and Grandma Ginny {and have some for us too, of course} On Monday {actual V day} I was surprised to come out and see beautiful cali lilies on my counter and a sweet card from RJ. Adde and Ezra had their annual cousins Valentine's party. It was a lot of fun. We had pizza and exchanged valentine's. {pics. to come} I stayed late visiting there with Kelly, Jessi, and Susan, while the kids played. So far RJ and I have kept high spirits about NEVER seeing each other and his MAJOR work load. I think we both realize it sucks for the other as well, so we try to stay positive. And so far, it's worked. It's only ONE year, and I know we can DO IT!
