week SIX

Week SIX brought on the CHUNK! Man this boy is getting big fast. {11.5 lbs when we took him to the doc. at 6 weeks} I LOVE how he's plumping up. He's got the most kissable cheeks. He is still super stingy with his smiles. He's smiled a few times at a few select people. We are just WAITING anxiously for those sweet smiles to become more frequent. He's just starting to sleep a little better at night. He usually has one, four hour stretch {feels like a little piece of heaven on earth} and then 2-3 hours the rest of the night. But he is mostly eating and going right back down, which is a definite improvement. He is getting so strong and is holding his head up and putting some weight on his legs. {My babies can never wait to start standing, I don't know why they are in such a hurry!} AND he finally pooped without a suppository. IT was a momentous occasion. We were at my parent's and EVERYONE gathered 'round to watch the loads and LOADS of poop continue to pour out. {where he is storing it all week, no one knows!!?} He has since been pooping about every 5 days or so. AND he is so much happier on "poop" days {I don't blame him for being grumpy when he's been backed up for a week!} He's still super noisy, grunty, and gassy. AND we LOVE every bit of HIM!
