The other day, I made Jo take a nap. I checked on her a while later and she was sleeping with the BIG stuffed elephant sitting right on top of her. Makes me laugh thinking what she must have been doing before she zonked! This girl is hilarious. She makes us laugh most of the day {and makes us want to pull our hair out the rest of the time!} She is the most stubborn girl I have ever met!
Example: A few weeks ago Jo had picked out a dress for church. It had spaghetti straps, so I told her she needed to wear her white shirt underneath {it was COLD!} She FLIPPED out! She screamed for an HOUR! RJ and I were both at our whits end. Finally, she came out with RJ and Abbey in a FLOWERED shirt under her dress. It looked hideous. But off they went to church. Later, RJ and I were laughing about it and I was kind of making fun of him for letting her wear that shirt . And he said {rather wearily} , "She WON!" I tried reasoning with her, beating her {not really...but he did spank her} Yelling at her, and she still kept it up, no matter what I did. {for an hour, no lie} "So, she won. If she cared that much to keep at it through all the abuse, she WINS!"

Isn't it great that they win so often! Julia has had almost a whole pack of gum today because she helps herself and doesn't need to listen to what mom says. Go, Jo! at least you got a good laugh out of it later.
