11 months

 

1. new shoes, now that he's walking, I actually have to remember to put shoes on him

2. haircut!

3. Loves his bottles

4. Harvey had an oreo---OH BOY!

This month Harvey started WALKING! Ahhh, he is so big, and he thinks he's big stuff too! About 10 1/2 months he started taking multiple steps and now at 11 months he is walking everywhere. He still needs something to pull himself up with, if he falls. 

He is our happy little LOVER BOY. He is always loving on his mama {and his Grandma and Gramz, and his sisters when they are lucky!} He gives me kisses, lays his head on my shoulder, and pats my back. He is the SWEETEST baby around. He absolutely melts my heart. 

He is BUSY! We have to watch him very close. He's getting into everything!

He says "dadadada" and "babababa" and other random babbles. He doesn't say dada or baba in regards to anyone or anything, just chatter.

He will wave bye bye any time we leave or when we are laying him down for naps.

I stopped nursing this month {after a slight case of mastitis} and he has started playing with my eyelashes while he drinks his bottle. He LOVES his bottle and didn't seem to have a hard time giving up nursing at all. He always does a happy little giggle and kicks his legs when he sees me getting his bottle ready. 

He's still a little picky with some foods. He won't eat many fruits. He'll usually eat bananas and sometimes apples, he doesn't usually like watermelon. His new fruit favorite, RASPBERRIES!

He still does the classic "Harvey giggle" while he wanders around the house exploring. 

He is still an excellent sleeper. He takes 2 two hour naps and sleeps from about 8-8 {sometimes he goes down a little earlier, sometimes he sleeps a little later} He has started getting sad when I lay him down at night. He likes to cuddle and doesn't want me to put him down. He only whines for a minute though. I usually give in and hold him a little longer!

 I gave the faux hawk a little trim this month also, I still haven't cut the back. It looks likes its going to curl, so I can't bare to cut it off just yet!
I can't believe that in ONE month my baby boy will have his FIRST BIRTHDAY! Never has a year flown by so fast. We have loved every second of this first year with our sweet little man. He is truly a blessing in our home! I love love love you baby boy! TO the MOON and BACK!
