SUDSA Christmas Performance

Abbey's violin group "Strings of Dixie" performed at the SUDSA {Southern Utah Down Syndrome Association} Christmas party. We were able to join the party for dinner and games. It was a lot of fun. We even saw Daddy's friend Brett Giles there!  The group performed a bunch of fun Christmas songs. The first performers {Miss Kris calls them the "Twinklers} played "Jolley Old St. Nick", "Up on the House top", "Jingle bells", and "Twinkle Twinkle". This was all the younger violinists. Abbey played all those. She worked really hard and was able to play 3 of the "Big kid carols" She played "Infant Holy" {Stars were gleaming}, "Deck the Halls", and "Away in a Manger" She did such a great job. I am always so proud of her. She works so hard to keep up with the more advanced students, and her hard work always pays off with a great performance!
