32 weeks and the "gush"

Two pregnant pictures to date...look at me go! {Don't mind the awesome mess in the background, thus is life--my life, anyway}

32 weeks...

Comment at church today "Oh, you must be getting close!"
yeh, yeh...8 WEEKS...right around the corner. {note sarcasm}
{I'm sure the signature "waddle" and "perma scoul" on my face gave me away. }

Not much has changed. Still feel like he could fall out any minute, any time of day. But his heart beat is strong and he is still doing the "worm" like a champ!

I had an interesting experience. I'm still not quite sure what to think. I took the girls swimming on Friday, at my mom's. I got in for a minute, then wrapped in my DRY towel and sat for about another 30 minutes. I got up to help the girls wrap in their towels and head home. I took my towel off and it was drenched! {Like "wring it out" soaked} ... so the mystery is Where did it come from? Did my water break? Did I pee my pants? I don't know--and it is honestly driving me crazy. I was feeling anxious all evening and paid close attention to any "liquid" coming out of me...NOTHIN'. I wasn't having pain. The baby was moving like normal.

So, I let it go. But it keeps coming back to my mind. Where in the WORLD did all the water come from...to completely SOAK my towel??? I'm slightly stressed and letting my Paranoid self take over {and I HATE feeling paranoid}. He is still moving well and I'm feeling okay {besides the pressure and feeling like he is falling out...as mentioned before. But it hasn't gotten WORSE since the water incident}

Maybe someone needs to give me a Valium and put me to bed for the next 8 weeks.

Wake me when it's over...and my baby is here safe and sound!

hey you! i had the same sort of thing with Hailey! Feeding your paranoia and when i went in to deliver the lady said...wow looks like your water broke a while ago. The only time I thought it might have was a bath. All the sudden it felt like a cold (which normally should we warm) water come. But thought nothing of it, felt nothing, let it go....so I would make sure to tell the Dr. to see what he thinks. better safe then sorry! Oh and you can totally name him Cameron LOL!

I had a similar experience with my first as well. I was about 35 weeks along and stood up and my undies were soaked. I went to the bathroom to check things out ( I was working at the time and the hospital was across the street) and it didn't smell like pee... and I didn't have to go... So i thought it must be that my bag of waters had ruptured. Being paranoid and a first time pregnant woman I immediately went to the hospital (across the street) and had them check me out. About an hour later after monitoring me a few chuckles from the nursing staff they sent me home saying I most likely peed myself. And it happens that it happens to women all the time. Well that was not what I wanted to hear because I was ready to give birth. Kaylee didn't come for another 4 1/2 weeks though.

But like Turnbow said you should have it checked out just to be sure. :) I am so excited for you. And yes I am ready for #4. I just love these little guys. And I figure I won't have this kind of energy forever. Good Luck with the delivery!

Hey Rach that is crazy! It never hurts to have your doctor check it out. Once your water breaks your baby is at risk to get infection and your doctor or hospital can tell quite easily if it has broken or not. Best to be safe and even more so when you are so early. Don't ever feel dumb getting it checked out, I always felt stupid when I went into the hospital and everything looked "perfect", well I won't ever feel that way again. You know your body better than anyone and always listen, maybe your water isn't broken, but wouldn't it give you peace of mind to know it! Good luck with everything and let me know! Miss ya Rach!
