So, I decided that maybe I'd better mention the leaking faucet to Dr. Ott, so I left him a message {he has this on-line message system}. I immediately deleted it because it sounded so rediculous. I had made my peace with it, felt fine, junior was moving fine, all was well. Then Monday morning RJ comes in and says he had talked to one of our good friends from the ward. He is a Urologist and said that I definitely needed to have it checked out. How can I argue with that? So I call my Dr. and talk to his MA. She informs me that he had just answered my message....{WHAT!? so, I guess it went through} He wanted me to go to Labor and Delivery. NOOO...I have already been to labor and delivery ONCE {remember the "contractions" I thought I was having} this pregnancy and was hoping the next time would be to deliver this little guy. I probably have a big RED flag in my chart saying, "Just ignore, she is crazy and paranoid!"
I was so embarrised to go, but I know that it is better safe than sorry. AND I'd never forgive myself if I didn't go and something happened to the baby. SO I sucked it up and went.
They monitored the baby and tested to make sure it wasn't my water that was leaking, which it WASN'T, and sent me on my way.
So, I have to say, I'm glad I went. They are always really sweet and understanding. They know this is YOUR BABY on the line and they are okay with the crazies and paranoids that come in. {Even if it's twice in a 10 week period of time!}
So strike two! {Which is a good thing...}
Let's hope next time we go to L & D we come home with a beautiful baby boy!
Funny side note:
I was talking to RJ last night, about Christmas gifts for the girls and going over some of the options I had in my head. He humors me and tries to be helpful. Then I asked him what we should get the baby for Christmas.
He smiles and says, "Cool baseball stuff!"
It made me laugh because I know he just can't wait for all the fun BOY stuff. Even just paroosing the isles for the perfect "manly" Christmas gift {for our 2 month old}

I can NOT wait to see him on Christmas! Even if I have to stop by your house, it's a must.
He is going to be so handsome!
You look so good!!!! I am excited for him to get here. BTW....you cannot top the ultimate paranoid pregnant women (which would be me). I went to L&D 3 times, called my doctor about 7 times, & requested he see me every week with an ultrasound each visit (which he obliged). But I am curious too....where did all that water come from if you aren't leaking? You must've peed and that is only super funny because of how much you said there was ;).
Glad to hear everything is okay!
YOU look great btw! Love you hair!
Im glad you got checked out and know everything is ok! I was for sure when I went down there when my water broke that they were going to send me home too saying I peed my pants! Good thing I went though since he really had broken. But to make you feel better, I think I peed my pants a couple times!!! Cant wait to meet your little guy. Garrett is already working on teaching Taylor to golf.
