I've lost my patience...
Not just now, not just today...LOST it.
I cannot find it anywhere!
Let me tell you why
Makayla screaming in her room {refusing to sleep} this is the ticker for today!
Tax season
my children's constant fighting
Abbey's constant bugging her sister
Abbey saying mean things to her sister
Makayla's 2 yearisms {whining!! ornery!! crazy!!}
Makayla's stubborness {Refer to first reason}
Makayla's inability to say YES to anything
The fact that my children must not physically be able to hear
because they do not LISTEN to one word I say
The fact that I've been talking to my children in a higher/louder voice all day {AKA yelling}
AND I HATE yelling ...
there that feels better.
Now can someone help me find my patience?

Oh no! It's the case of the Manic Monday {yep, I know that you are now humming that stupid song, as you read this!}
Just think, tax season is over in two days {mental note, mail in taxes TODAY}, and then you can recieve some sanity back.
Hope your day goes better! ;)
oh, and I like these kind of post from people. It's nice to know that we're all just people.
oh, and I'm back.. I'm dying of laughter from your side "quotes of the day." The Shart story is HILARIOUS!
I also love the side quotes.
And I appreciate the vent at the top of all the perfect and frilly easter posts. (Although they are adorable too, of course.)
Nice to know I'm not alone in my bad days.
Call someone and talk in a whisper. Then they'll want to listen to you.
I thought you found patients every Tuesday! You can't work every day. Glad to hear the fighting and the teasing doesn't happen just with boys...I know that only helps me, not so much you!
LOL Hmm is it a case of toddlerisms? I love that its not just my house:)
for some reason I decided to check in on you blog tonight. So glad I did. I feel much better that I am not the only one who has lost my patience. I could just change the names in this post and re-post it on mine. GOOOD LUCK! you do have a beautiful family!
If you run away just honk outside and I will go with you...I am ready for a getaway too!(:
I know the feeling...my poor mom....she got to hear me lose my patience over the phone today!!! Then it dosen't help when my husband says, "just tell them no it's not that hard!" But it is hard when your children seem to have a listening problem!!! Love your post!!
Ditto! I feel the same way sometimes, like I just don't have any more patience left. I hope today was a lot better for you! :)
That made me feel better, some days I swear it is all I can do to not lock my kids in their rooms and lock myself in mine too. I am sorry RJ is gone so much, hopefully the end is near. Your girlies look so cute in their Easter clothes. Looks like you guys have been having fun. Next time you are up north come visit us!
I totally know the feeling! I hate when all I feel like I do some days is yell yell yell all day it's frustrating and I feel bad for my kids at the end of the day but sometimes you just have to! Being a mom is great isn't it?
Rach you make me laugh! I love this post. I will you give you a call when I have two kids that make my patients go away. And you Easter post, darling! They are so dang cute and getting so big. I can't wait til I have a cute little family like you!
Well....whenever you do find it....can you please share? I have been feeling the same way for a few days now. You mean to tell me your girls aren't best friends that NEVER EVER fight? Good! Then mine are normal because they sound just like yours!
Glad I'm not alone. I did some yellin' tonight when Nolan got out of bed for the fifth time.
Oh, man it must be loss of Patience season, cause today, Jared had to take over so I could have a mommy time out!
Sometimes, I just put the boys in the car, put my ipod ear buds in, turn it up and DRIVE.
