I celebrated my 26th birthday this past week. It really didn't FEEL any different, and I didn't think much about it....until last night. I was just sitting here and it hit me twenty SIX! When did that happen. I still don't FEEL old--It just HIT me. I'm TWENTY-SIX!!!
I've been so busy watching my girls lives whiz by right before my eyes, that I failed to notice MY LIFE whizzing by. I still think of myself as 18... but Here I am 26 years old, married, two kids....a mortgage, and a desire for a
MINI VAN {a STRONG desire} and I'm left wondering, now when did this all happen?
Life is crazy, and it got me to thinking last night, when I realized that I'm in the latter part of my mid-twenties, that I'm HAPPY with my life. I love my hubby {who is THIRTY--good grief!} I love my two beautiful children, I dislike my mortgage but I LOVE my home, and it's okay to want a mini van.
So, there is my piece on aging. I'm OKAY with it. {For now} I'll let you know how 30 goes. Besides a good friend told me {well told RJ anyway} "THIRTY is the NEW 20--"

I can feel your pain. Getting old stinks but I firmly believe that you are only as old as you think you are so 26 is right where I think I will stay!

Rach....a mini van, what the?? gosh im only 24 and cant think of me in a mommy van yet...but i have a couple friends that have them and LOVE them, and they do come pretty loaded! i had a mini van when nick and i lived in Hawaii with out kids even, but thats the only place i think i would have one cause it was great for the suff boards and skim boards!!! happy late bday, and happy van hunting!!!
26...you are still a spring chicken!!! But yes we all get older and it stinks, but what can we do about it??? I was a little sad to turn 30, but a good friend told me the same thing they told Rj!! But I will never drive a mini van:) hahah hope you had a great day!!
