Daddy Tag!

RJ and Abbey did this email awhile ago and I just thought it was too funny. You have the kids answer all the questions. Since I blog more than I email, I thought that may be the case with some of you, so instead of forwarding this email, I'm going to blog it.

1. What is something dad always says to you? Be nice to Makayla
2. What makes dad happy? Be nice to Makayla
3. What makes dad sad? I'm not being nice to Makayla
4. How does your dad make you laugh? tickle me
5. What was your dad like as a child? like a little kid
6. How old is your dad? i don't know maybe 29 (She had a little help on this one)
7. How tall is your dad? like this big (arms fully extended). he's 16 big
8. What is his favorite thing to do? i don't know. snuggle with me, and hug me and kiss me.
9.What does your dad do when you're not around? he goes to work.
10. If your dad becomes famous, what will it be for? I don't know
11. What is your dad really good at? jumping in the pool
12. What is your dad not very good at? jumping from one tree to another one without a zipline. (honestly where do they come up with this stuff!!)
13. What does your dad do for his job? goes to work
14. What is your dad's favorite food? cereal
15. What makes you proud of your dad? when he makes me laugh
16. If your dad were a cartoon character who would he be? awesome
(pretty sure RJ answered this one)
17. What do you and your dad do together? play
18. How are you and your dad the same? i don't know. we both packed our angry eyes.
(inside joke: we always tell RJ and Abbey they "packed their angry eyes" --from Toy Story--because they can glare so well with those eyebrows)
19.How are you and your dad different? he likes naps and i don't
20. How do you know your dad loves you? he's my favorite dad

This just cracked me up. So, if you are in a blogging rut...as I am. Go ahead and have your little squirt anwer some questions about their daddy.

Abbey at "almost 4"

favorite TV show: Max and Ruby/ Tom and Jerry DVD

favorite lunch: cheese sandwiches--"with only cheese and that's it!"

favorite friend: Carter Jensen

favorite past time: playing with her animals and baby dolls (and having me play too--to help take care of all of them), playing "dogs" with Carter, or playing at a friend's house.

favorite treat: kit kat bars from Grandma's (she eats one and likes to share the second with someone...yes that is odd)

favorite drink: ORANGE JUICE. She drinks gallons a day.

She is very social and makes friends easily

She loves to dress up

She loves preschool and primary

She is learning all her primary songs and she sings her little heart out when she sings in primary

She is a great big sister and very motherly (most of the time)

She is a big help to me. She loves to get me diapers, throw things away for me, answer my phone, and clear her dishes to the sink when she's done eating.

She loves to check Makayla for poop...? I know, whatever.

She likes to go to dance BUT likes even more the play group we have afterwords.

She loves to draw and paint, and she is very artistic

This "approaching 4" age has been awesome. She is so much fun. I just wanted to jot a few fun facts about Abs...mostly (okay completely) for my benefit. I'm getting so behind on scrapbooking that by the time I get to scrapbooking "now" I'll have forgotten what she was like.

that's a fun little post. I'll have to do that one sometime. By the way, you keep asking me how I learned how to design digital kits. Basically it is mostly trial and error. I am still learning as I go. And, I'm not sure why you can't download my kits. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem....sorry (you are clicking the link that takes to to '4shared' right?)

Wow.. 4? Crazy!

In response to your question:
I work at DHS, DMS, and Lava Ridge Intermediate one day a week per school. We do a program called PEP ( Personal Empowerment Program) where the kids come and talk about their problems, and have peer support.. We discuss life skills like drug/alcohol prevention, anger management, communication, stress, peer pressure ect. It's awesome, but weird to be back in the school setting again! :)

That forward was hilarious. RJ (or maybe you) forward it to Kelly & he sent it to me & then I did it with Adde. It was hilarious!! I don't think she understood some of the questions. Abbey's so cute!! She really is such a smart almost 4 year old.

Ah, scrapbooking. To say the least, I'm a little behind too. Frankie has like 10 pages in his book. I never finished high school (or college for that matter). And I've never even touched our wedding. Oi. If you figure out how to stay on top of it let me know. (: Memory posts like this count for something though, I figure.

It was fun seeing you and your cute family in real life the other day.

Who CAN stay caught up with their scrapbooking? My blog is going to be my family scrapbook after I print it through blurp.com. And I'm switching over to digital scrapbooking soon for the kids individual books. I'm hoping I can get more done that way.
I love the daddy tag idea. Abbey is so funny!

That is so cute. I wish Ryder was old enough to answer these questions.
