So, RJ and I decided to take a little getaway without the girls. We had a free night at the Oasis, in Mesquite, so off we go. Yes, we understand that this was not any sort of exotic getaway...but still, it had what we needed, right? (I forget how...uh "white trash" mesquite can be) We left the girls with my mom and headed off. (Abbey actually ended up staying with her cousin, Adde--First sleepover!! They are getting so big) Anyway, so we have some dinner, check in to our
"deluxe room" (I wish I would've taken pictures) We are just hanging out, and, after me getting shot down on wanting to play BINGO, decided we were going to see 21 (so good, i loved it), So 9:00 rolls around and we are ab0ut to head to the movie, and we decide, Let's go to the movie and then drive home and sleep in our own bed.
Our deluxe room, not so DELUXE, (I'll spare you the details) and we were sure to have drunk neighbors yelling all night long, besides we could hear every truck driving passed us on the freeway. So we called and checked out at 9 pm. Went to the movie, and drove home, just to hop in our own bed by 1:30 am. So Viva Las ...Home it was!

Isn't the movie 21 great!! I loved it, too!! Sounds like you had a fun eventful night!! I don't blame you for coming home!!
What! Mesquite is the best...or not. Glad you got a little break.
That is so funny you went home. At least you had a little break, sounds like you needed. I have the absolute worst story about mesquite ever. I wont tell you on your blog because it isn't very wholesome but next time I see. So bad!
Next time go to the Casablanca, it is a "little" nicer and I love their spa!
Hmm, i wonder if things ever turn out as we plan -at least you had a date:)
That's so funny that you ended up coming home from mesquite! So glad RJ is done with Tax Season! I liked your top ten list! :) April 16th was a day our family came to love as well when my dad was free from the stress! We would go to Southern California and just play!
