We had our ward’s “8 is Great” Program in January. And it’s still crazy for me to believe that my little Abbey was part of this group. I’ve been the secretary in the Primary presidency for over 3 years now, and this is always one of my favorite programs. It was even more fun this year, having a child be a part of it. These sweet 7 year olds are so excited to turn 8 and be baptized and become a member of the church. They have great enthusiasm and faith. It is such a neat group of kids. They sat and listened as the Bishop talked a little about the interview and about their upcoming baptism. Dave Terry came and talked about scouting. And Kristi Taylor talked to the girls about Activity Days. {This is what Abbey is most excited about} I’m so proud of Abbey and the decisions she’s made this far in her life. She is kind, loving and caring, and I know she will make the right choice when it comes time for her baptism!
