the FIRST lemonade stand

 Who wouldn't stop for that!?

 Satisfied customers. I sat with the girls and daddy stayed home with Harvey while he napped. When he woke up, he got to come have a sampling too, he was thrilled.

Abbey has been DYING to do a lemonade stand, so we FINALLY planned it all out. The girls were both so excited. We set up on the corner, in front of the Talbot's home {friends in our ward} Daddy was the girls first customer {and he's a good tipper} We had a lot of sweet friends stop by, grandma, grandma Tode and Grandpa Beege {also really good tippers} and even some strangers. It made me vow to never drive by a lemonade stand again. The look on these girls faces when someone would stop was priceless. There was a lot of down time and at one point Abbey looked at me and said, "This isn't as fun as I thought it'd be!" It was soo hot! But in the end, they had a blast and never gave up hope. Yelling and waving to EVERY car that drove by. They ended up reeling in close to 30$ in two hours. Makayla started doing a little more playing with Thalia then working, so we gave Abbey a little more of the money for being such a HARD worker. {She came home sick and THREW UP too...I think she had heat exhaustion. }
