Abbey turned FIVE this year! I just cannot believe my baby girl is FIVE years old. We spent the whole day pampering her and having so much fun.
**We started off with birthday french toast and gifts from mom, dad, and Makayla
**She loved her new birthday outfit {and looks darling in it, of course!}
**She headed to school--where she got to be spotlighted, read her favorite story to the class, and bring treats
**Then we headed to JJ nails and Abbey got a mini manicure and pedicure
{They even added flowers for her birthday gift}
It took FOREVER--but it was fun
** We ate lunch at Golden Coral {her favorite restaurant}
** Put flowers on Grandma Nina's grave {they share a birthday}
**Then we headed home to open gifts from Grandma Ester
Later that night, we ended the day with German pancakes for dinner {one of her favorites}
It was fun having a whole day all about Abbey {it's good to be FIVE!}

*Very independent
*Loves her little cousins and is a BIG helper
* Is learning to read
*Loves to dance and sing
{taking ballet lessons and tap--she LOVES tap}
*Started taking violin lessons
* Loves preschool
*Has a very unique fashion sense
*Is a leader

i love the mani-pedi birthday idea. i totally remember being little and wanting so bad to be able to do grown-up type things like that! sounds like a great day, i bet she felt so special.
YOu are such a cute mom! Really. I love that you spent the day with her. I cannot believe you have a 5 year old!! Yikes that means Lex is just around the corner. I'm not ready!!
Wow! 5! That is so crazy! Looks like a fun day & she does look so cute in her new outfit!
