Thanksgiving Day

The day starts off with the annual Turkey shoot-- I took the kids down for the first time.
Abbey got to launch the clay pigeons for the boys to shoot down.

Dean {my father-in-law} thought he'd teach me how to shoot a gun! After much hesitation, I went for it. Don't I look totally natural {yeah, right! Such a dork} I have to admit though, it was fun. {and the ground 10 feet in front of me got it hard!!}

We had such a great day--
RJ's sister, Britny, came down with her family,
RJ's brother was here with his family,
and Uncle Rick and Aunt Tami--
And, of course, Gramz and Papa were the gracious hosts!

I have so much to be thankful for...
Good health
A home
Good employment
Two beautiful girls
A hardworking, loving husband
The gospel
A wonderful Family
My savior, Jesus Christ
And the list goes on

I'm just going to start calling you Trigger. I'm glad you showed the ground a thing or two. Now that Dean's taught you the way, we should totally go shooting sometime. You know, hit some cans, street signs...the usual.
