The Mathews annual beach trip was this past week. RJ and I went down to Southern California with the girls from Tuesday-Saturday. So we had 3 glorious days at San Elijo beach (and 2 days for traveling) And aside from a rough 16 hours or so (we lost the keys to our car...but 140.00 later we were good to go) it was so fun. The girls had a blast with cousins and RJ and I actually got to relax a little on the beach. It's a fun tradition that we have loved over the years. In the Mathews' homes the year revolves around the beach (The new year starts after the beach)

Oh my goodness! How fun, but I can imagine all the sand...EVERYWHERE! By the way, everytime I see pictures of your little Makayla she looks so tall. Is she?
Cute Rach! I love the beach! We get to go to a beach house in about a week and a half! I can't wait...it's just to relaxing....I don't know how you do it though actually camping ON the beach! Fun!
Thanks for the invite to read your blog. Todd's family goes to the beach every year too but we just haven't made the effort (or planned on the money) that is required. Super cute pictures.
I was just going to give you a guilt trip for not blogging when SURPRISE.. A new post.. Good reason for being busy! I love the beach. Someday when I'm rich and famous, I'm going to have a FATTY beach house, where all my crew and I hang out. NICE! Maybe if you're lucky you'll be invited too! ;)
ok so we totally need to swap pictures. i will burn another cd of mine if you will do the same. we need to trade so we can have all the pictures. you got some way cute ones that I didn't. That one of Carter is awesome. My little man is the coolest. Definitely need to have that one. So let me know if that sounds good.
Oh I love the beach, looks like you had such a fun time with all the family! We really need to plan a get together SOON!

I can't believe how big your kids are!! Goodness...I really miss a lot down here. What a cute family Rach. And...you are such a cute mom. You look so good! (of course...like I'm surprised!) I'm coming up the weekend of September 20th. We'll totally have to do lunch or something that Friday, I think it's the 19th. That would be so much fun!
