So, Abbey is sooo into Polly Pockets right now, especially the princess ones, and I have been trying to get her to pick a toy that she wants to have the binki fairy bring her (She cuts up her binki's and puts them in a bag, and in the morning the binki fairy, takes the binkis, and leaves her a toy) So, she finally decided... she wanted a mulan polly pocket. Sounds easy right? Well, Mulan isn't ranked up there with the most popular of the princesses, but Abbey absolutely LOVES her! So, I got online to find this toy (pictured above) NOTHING! not the Disney store, Kmart, Walmart, KB, Target...so then I resort to googling "Mulan" and see what I find. So, I am currently bidding 18.00 on ebay for the fine item. (Not too bad, right) Oh, but wait, fine print, Shipping and Handling is like 10.50-- are you kidding me?! And it's only being shipped from Florida (you would've thought from China--I did) So for a mere 30.00 some dollars this lovely Mulan doll will by mine and Abbey will be without a binki....
small price to pay, right?

Rachel: I'm glad to know that someone else has to be creative to get rid of the binki. Ali had hers until she was about 2 and a half and now TAG is hooked. I don't know what we are going to do to get him off! I like the binki fairy idea - Wish me luck!
That is so funny. I love your creativity. How did she even know a mulan polly pocket existed? I hope it is a hit!
What an ingenious mama--Way to go Binki Fairy --wow impressive! $30 is totally worth it --Literally if someone said pay me $30 and I'll get Abby to give up her binkis, of coarse you would do it
Rachel-
Of course you can add me, I know what you mean about the "list" it becomes far too addicting though. I really should stop and yet her I am again blogging.. Uggh.. it's a love/hate relationship. :)
What a great idea!! Good luck with it!
OH my, I'm getting the biggest kick out of your Mulan search... it is so funny! I'm going to the Disney store tomorrow to see if they have any options!
I think we should take pictures of your girls in spring colored tutu's... I'll be down there in April and I would love to have some fun getting to know them and of course seeing you again!
Wow, you are a good mama. Good luck with the Mulan thing. I saw a little Mulan princess doll polly pocket size at Taret last week, but it wasn't the actual polly pocket and she came with Cinderella and the whole gang. Good luck!
