This isn't the type of thing I normally blog about...but I wanted to remember this one.
My husband is a saint, an angel on earth, and let me tell you why.
We had a Relief Society "Couples" activity tonight. It was a Luau at the church at 7:00. They had arranged Young Woman to babysit, and it was a lot of fun. As we were driving there, with our friends, Chad and Brooke, Brooke mentioned something about no dinner.
WHAT!? We hadn't eaten dinner, we thought for sure this was dinner.
No dinner.
Normally, this would be a problem.
At 4 months pregnant this is a BIG problem.
I'm hungry!
So, it turns out really fun, but the whole time I'm discussing dinner options for later and how delicious some GRILLED SHRIMP sounded. But I had a primary meeting after the Luau...so dinner would be, yet again, postponed.
So, back to my angel on earth.
He had called in grilled shrimp from Anasazi and brought it by my meeting {along with a salad with blue cheese dressing, my favorite!}
I felt so loved and honestly it was one of the most thoughtful things anyone has ever done for me. It may seem simple, but it really made my night.
It's something I want to remember. That I'm lucky enough to be married to someone like that. Who hauls our kids to Anasazi at 9:00 at night to get his pregnant wife something yummy to eat.
He is truly a saint...and I'm a lucky girl!

Oh RJ...so sweet! He must come from a good family. ;)
Can't wait to see that little baby of yours!
I'm just going to let Todd read this post a little later. It sure is the little things that make us love them more, huh?
Good job RJ!! It's amazing how the simplest things can go the longest ways on days like that. Glad you have a great guy!
