Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny found us! Abbey woke up so excited that morning, but Makayla wasn't awake yet, so we told her she had to wait. About 10 minutes later, we heard candy wrappers crinkling. Makayla had gotten up and snuck out without us. As you can see, it didn't take her long to dive into the CANDY!!

The girls got new swimsuits and cover-ups, Abbey got a snorkel set and Makayla got some new goggles. They have LOVED using them in Grandma's pool.
The Easter bunny also brought some fun dolls for the girls. They are maniquins that they dress up and "design" their own unique outfits. They've had a lot of fun with those.

We enjoyed a yummy breakfast of french toast thanks to our wonderful daddy.

I also had to throw in a picture of the beautiful, sparkly eggs that the girls and daddy dyed together on Saturday. I had the flu over the weekend and was sooo sick, so daddy took over the Easter festivities and took the girls to the Mathews' egg hunt Saturday afternoon.

Emily has that same Little Mermaid swimsuit and begs us to let her go for a swim in the bathtub every morning, while wearing it. ;) She even wears it to dance class most of the time, and her dance teacher is all for it as long as each girl feels "beautiful." I love it! I just wish I had a swimsuit like that.

Your sparkly eggs are so darling, Rach. You're such a cute mom!

good grief! How many suits did the girls get! I want that bunny to head over to my house. Impressive sparkly eggs. Who'd have thunk RJ would have been involved!
