RJ and I went to the temple last night....and it was so refreshing. So great to get away from the worldly things {problems} and just feel the spirit. It was so nice. RJ and I were asked to be the witness couple, and it was really neat--we'd never done it before. Our ward sent a sign up sheet for a YW to come over and babysit {for free} while we attended ward temple night---what a great idea! Our sitter was darling and the girls just LOVED her. I'm so grateful to be so close to a temple--Even though we don't take advantage of it like we should-- what a great blessing!

Good reminder! Thanks! ;0
I really miss having a temple down the street. It's kind of hard to plana a half a day to drive up, do a session, then drive home! You're luckier than you know!
I know what you mean. I feel so lucky to live less than ten minutes away from the Salt Lake Temple. But seeing this picture of the St. George Temple totally brings a smile to my face. I love it!
I think my favorite part of your blog is the fact that babysitting was free. Todd and I have found it tough trusting anyone but family with the new baby so we haven't put the effort into getting to the temple like we should. I love the picture you posted of the temple...can't say I've seen that one before :)
It was refreshing. I needed it!! You and RJ were really cute as the witness couple. I can't believe that was you first time. Ryan and I got asked everytime we went for the first 2 years of our marriage. That was before children and we could actually get there on time.
The YW babysitting was a great idea!!!
It was great I was the very last woman to go throught at the end. Unfortunately My hubby couldn't go it felt kind of weird, but I had a good time. We have never been asked to be the "couple" anyways that free babysitting thing is great except when you have a young woman that volenteered at another couple house. SO I had to pay. I didn't care it was worth it to feel peace and quiet. If you need a babysitter Brooklynn loves to do it as long as it isn't her own sibblings. haha
Hey, just catching up on your blog. It has been a long time since I have sat down and read the blogs. It has been a long time since I have posted on my blog. Cute stuff. Poor Makayla! Ouch, and those midnight rushes to the emergency room. Yuck!! Not a fun time to be a parent. Love you guys! See you in a couple of days! Yeah, warm sunny St. George here we come. Hey will you tell RJ to invite me to his blog again, I must not have taken care of that the first time he sent me his email. Thanks, Mon
Its always seems so hard to get there but once you are there it is the best feeling! You just reminded me how badly I need to go do a few sessions. Thanks!
