Is that me i'm talking about? NO, I wish it were, but I haven't been mom of the year lately. My house feels like it is in complete chaos ALL the time. Surely it will get better....surely. But I did want to post this little shout out to MY wonderful, creative, talented mother. She just finished a little children's book about my great-great grandfather William Atkin and he and his family's trek across the plains. IT turned out so darling and I'm just really proud of her for doing it (and she'll probably kill me for this post...but I don't care!) Love you mom

Did she do the cover of the book & everything? Sounds like more time & researc than my liking but good for your madre.
I think it is so cute!!! I am so excited about it. I think it is such a fun way we can teach our kids (and my self) about our ancestors!
Your too hard on yourself...I vote you for mom of the year!!! I read your post about the blog book...I am so bummed...I was wanting to print all of my 2008 posts in a book, too. Have you found out any other way???? Let me know!

Your mom is amazing, melinda told me about this book. SO CUTE! But Melinda has also told me of your many talents too- I hear you do a great job on digital scrapbook calendars. I am trying to figure it out and wondered if you used templates or had some great ideas. I am really into buying the 'drop and plop' templates. It you have any advice or would ever mind if I snuck a peak at yours for ideas I would love it. THANKS
